From a Single Lawnmower to a Full-Service Team
What started as weekend work during university turned into something much larger. Our founder, Daniel, began offering lawn care to neighbours in Richmond in 2009. Word spread, and within two years, demand had grown beyond what one person could handle.
Rather than simply hire more workers, Daniel brought in specialists. A trained horticulturist. A landscaper with commercial experience. Someone who understood irrigation systems inside out. The goal was never to become the biggest, just the most knowledgeable.
Today, mellow-frost operates across three major metro areas with a team of twelve dedicated professionals. Every person on staff has been selected for their expertise and their genuine interest in seeing gardens thrive.
